Lama tak update. Eversince i came back from Sarawak, been busy preparing for cases especially since the looong Wilayah Day and CNY holiday were coming. I have to stay back till 31/1/2011 coz a prominent lawyer decided to 'main wayang in court'. I came to the office on saturday and sunday to prepare for the case. Even doing research for the issues he was trying to raise are novel issues. No precedent yet. Aini stayed back with me, while the rest of the family went back to KT on saturday morning.
The holiday mood was all over but the court decided to fixed most cases on monday 31/1/2011. The courts were buzzing and very packed. There were confusion as to where the case was supposed to be heard. We (another officer and i) went up and down till finally another colleague informed us our case was in court 2. Hmnnn...i remembered that we checked the list several times but how come we didnt see our case in the list??? [misteri nusantara di situ]
From 8.30 till 12.30 pm we waited, till finally our case was called. The moment the other counsel opened his mouth, the judges started bombarding him questions..Few minutes later, the head of the panel said..."Cik Mokcik Azwa tak perlu berhujah. Kami dengan sebulat suara menolak notis usul Responden.." YAHOOOO.....hahaha...though am a little bit disappointed for not being given the chance to submit [ am all prepared with my submission and authorities], i was glad the judges were with me on the issues...
Some lawyers just like to try their luck and waste other people time and money...
The rest of the CNY holiday was spent at home...spring cleaning. Rumah sebulan ditinggalkan memang banyak lah kena kemaskan, though my eldest son and hubby's youngest brother slept there during the weekends, being boys...dari segi kemas mengemas rumah memang kantoi..hehehhee..
We went back to Putrajaya on saturday, 5. Mulanya nak juga naik flight balik awal sikit...kiranya sempat juga ke Melaka menghadiri jemputan Kak Anie.. Tapi akhirnya menukar rancangan...kesemua anak2 nak ikut mokcik...hahaha...nanti merajuk pulak cik abe kena balik sensorang hahaha. Thanks for the invitation Kak Anie...lain kali jangan serik jemput lagi ya...hehehhe
