MOKCIK KE SANA KE MARI LAGI

Dear all,

How's everyone getting on?  Selamat berpuasa to all yang berpuasa. Pejam celik pejam celik dah masuk hari kesepuluh kita berpuasa kan... another 20 day to go..insyaAllah. Semoga Allah SWT beri kita kekuatan untuk meneruskan ibadah puasa kita..aminnnn

Been a while since i last updated my blog. Been busy and been travelling, that's why tak sempat nak duduk dan update blog ini. 

Mokcik juz came back from Kota Kinabalu...yesss...againnn...hehehhe. My case was on friday. Terbang ke KK thursday afternoon. Flight at 3.30pm, reached KK at 6 pm. Took a taxi to the hotel which took us about half an hour..so, kena berbuka dalam teksi. My colleague brought with her some dates, so we berbuka with kurma first. 

Check in at Le Meridien, our favourite hotel over there in KK. Then went down jalan-jalan near the beach in front of the Hotel to cari makan. Found a restaurant yang boleh diyakini kehalalan dan kebersihannya..so we ordered our dinner. So hungry, dah gulped down everything baru teringat nak ambil gambar tapi ikan sweet sour pun tinggal pinggan dengan sudu so no point la hehehehe...  

Came back to Hotel around 9 pm...baru start menelaah fail untuk kes esok.  OOO ya.. kat KK kan sahur awal, so my sahur came at 3.30 am...hehehe..I choose the nasi lemak set..while my colleagues both choose congee. I thank God that i choose the nasi lemak set..the nasi is not that lemak, just nice. The fruit selection pun ok, the curry ayam too pun sedap, the dry types, bukan kari ayam yang banyak kuah tu. 

Around 8.15 am we went to court and finished around 12 pm. My brother picked me up at 1 pm and baru balik rumah my mom...Home sweet home again..

DESTINASI MAKAN MALAM

Memandangkan ianya sudah keluar dalam media massa, maka boleh la reveal semalam kami menghadiri Majlis Makan Malam bersama YAB PM di KLCC.

Perjalanan ke KLCC adalah dengan menaiki bas yang disediakan oleh Jabatan.  Syukur perjalanan tidak menempuh kesesakan jalanraya yang teruk. Dalam tempoh sejam kami tiba ke destinasi. Bergegas mencari surau untuk menunaikan solat asar. Seterusnya meninjau2 tempat makan malam yang ditetapkan. Ramai yang mengisi perut dahulu kerana masih awal iaitu jam 6 petang.  Kami terus naik ke tingkat atas dan selepas menikmati welcome drink [fresh orange yang masam, rasanya guna sunquick kot], kami memasang strategi mencari lokasi surau terdekat untuk solat maghrib.

Kononnya nak mengelak surau terdekat yang mestinya akan sesak kerana ramai tertumpu ke situ, kami memilih surau yang agak jauh sikit lokasinya. Suraunya agak sempit, tapi masa kami sampai sempat mendapat tempat untuk menunaikan solat maghrib. Seelok jer melabuhkan punggung atas sejadah sementara menunggu azan maghrib, tiba2 surau tersebut sudah dipenuhi dengan pegawai2 dari Jabatan yang sama. Syukur kami datang awal, maka seelok jer waktu maghrib masuk, terus masing2 menunaikan solat untuk memberikan ruang pada orang lain mengerjakan solat pulak.

Seperti biasa orang perempuan kan... lepas solat semua berduyun2 ke toilet untuk bermekap2 pulak hahahha...

Meja kami kebetulan di bahagian belakang, agak jauh daripada meja utama. Elok juga, mudah nak bersembang dan menghilangkan diri lebih awal, jika mahu. Walaubagaimanapun, di meja kami semua menunggu sehingga guest of honour berangkat balik. Tambahan pulak kebanyakan kami datang ke situ menaiki bas, maka kena la menunggu kan hahahaha...

Mari kita lihat juadah yang disajikan...gambar2 kurang memuaskan kerana mokcik mengambil gambar menggunakan kamera henpon sajork..

Dihidangkan orange jus yg sama dgn welcome drink..ramai tak dapat menghabiskan segelas jus pun..rasanya pekat dan agak masam..

Appetizer pertama.. sepit ketam dengan sotong dan kerabu mangga..weird taste, i should say.. 

Sup yang boleh tahan la rasanya

Main coursenya..

Makanan yang dihidangkan boleh tahan la rasanya. Untuk tempat yang berprestij seperti KLCC, bagi Mokcik they could have done better. Otherwise service is good.   And we did enjoyed ourselves though, sebab kebetulan yang duduk semeja semua satu kepala hahahaha..

Itu sahaja laporan hari ini, mokcik akan respon kepada komen2 di entry terdahulu selepas ini ya...

DESTINASI MAKAN MALAM INI

We were ahemmmm....required to attend a certain dinner tonight with a certain personality somewhere in KL.

Memandangkan sudah agak lama tidak membeli kasut dan beg sebagai hadiah kepada diri sendiri, maka masa senggang tengahari tadi Mokcik memanjang2kan langkah ke pusat membeli belah terdekat sekalik..ke mana lagi.. hehehe...

Inilah hasil terapi minda Mokcik hari ini...

Wokeh kenkawan.. Mokcik gotta go now..nak pi bermekap2 untuk ke destinasi makan malam paksa rela malam ini...lalalalla... [walaupun terpaksa tapi kena menggumbirakan hati sendiri hehehhe]

MONDAY, TUESDAY, WEDNESDAY KU MENANTI MU...

Lamanya Mokcik berchuti-chuti dari membuat entry...*sigh*

Selepas balik daripada Sabah Tanah AirKu hehehe... kerja menunggu berderet2.

I have to attack a very urgent file, wasiat from my colleague yang telah dipindahkan tanpa pengganti. Being a senior officer, his files boleh dikatakan 'tough' belaka. Semua melibatkan isu yang hangat dan hangit. And when the case is fixed at the court below...there were only four of us left who are given the mandate to appear there in my Unit.  The other officers' hands are  also full, so Mokcik got to take the challenge.  

I prayed hard to Allah, to make it easier for me. I dont mind losing, based from the facts, we will know, whether it is a good or bad case for us. And sometimes it depends on the corum sitting that particular day. 

Well, unfortunately for me...the chairman of the corum is a very well known man of certain temper...However, I thank God for my lucky star, for that particular day, he did not say much [ read 'TIDAK BERLETER']. In fact, he only smiled and let me submit my point. 

"anything else you want to submit counsel?"

"I have nothing else to say, my Lord"

"Wise decision, the lesser said the better, isn't  it?"  *Smile*

The decision? As expected... sigh... again..

My boss reaction?

"Never mind Mokcik, at least you have tried your best"

I was there again last tuesday.  My case was only called up at 12 pm. While waiting, i was soooo sleepy, there were times i sampai tersengguk2, terlelap seketika hahahaha.

I thought it was only a simple  case and would not take long to argue. Win or lose does not really matter. We want a decision, and all parties can continue from there. 

However, as it happened, the panel disagree with one authority that i cited and i was grilled for one full hour..  and after the grilling, they couldnt or more like they already made up their mind but do not want to go against the binding precedent on them, they adjourned the case to another date..aiyooooo........

ARRGHHHH...TENSIOOONNNN

My boss reaction?

"What's wrong with them? You tell them, no matter how much they dislike it, they are bound by the highest court decision. Just make a decision and we will take it up from there.."

Again on Wednesday I was here.  I spent the whole night fine tuning my submission. I decided that since they dislike my approach so much the previous day on the issue, i  will try a different strategy this time around.  Well, as it happened, this time, i was infront of a different corum.  What a blessing! With this corum, all i have to do is straight to the point, try to persuade them to accept our argument that the other side failed to established his case against us.

Unfortunately, it was found out that the papers of the Appellant was not in order. the record is not in the court's file..shessshhhhh....  i thought i could at least close one file that day.  The case was adjourned to another date.... aduhhhh.....dah la i spent the whole night 'beramas mesra' with the file and my submission..and tiba2 kes tak jalan...argghhhhhhhhhhhh.....

Thursday and today pun digunakan sepenuhnya untuk membuat persediaan bagi tugasan2 minggu hadapan.... really looking forward for a good break during this weekend.   Dah berapa hari asyik balik lewat. Mujur cik abe tak bising. Syukur bila balik rumah makanan dah siap terhidang, am not too worried about myself but for the children..kesian dorang.
